Use uouo cloud models for browser translation workflows in FluentRead.
Overview
FluentRead is a browser translation extension for page translation, selected text translation, and bilingual reading.
Configuration
- Create an API key in
/app/keys. - Open FluentRead settings.
- Add an AI translation service.
- Choose OpenAI Compatible or custom API.
- Set API URL to
https://uouo.cloud/v1. - Set API Key to
sk-xxx.... - Set a model suitable for translation.
Verify
Open a page and trigger paragraph translation. If it works, /app/logs shows a chat completions request.
Known limits
- Full-page translation can use many tokens.
- Create a low-budget project for browser translation.
- Some page content may be filtered by the browser extension.
