Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for safe, lawful, and production-grade use of uouo cloud.
Last updated: June 6, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is incorporated into our Terms of Service and applies to all use of the Service. You must also comply with the terms, usage policies, and safety rules of the upstream model providers your requests are routed to.
1. Prohibited activities
You may not use the Service to engage in, facilitate, or attempt any of the following:
- illegal activity or activity that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- abuse of AI models, bypassing safety systems, evading provider rules, or circumventing rate limits;
- malware, credential theft, phishing, spam, fraud, deceptive practices, or account takeover;
- unauthorized scraping, data extraction, vulnerability scanning, probing, or intrusion;
- harassment, hateful conduct, unlawful discrimination, or content that exploits or endangers minors;
- regulated advice misuse, including pretending that outputs are legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, or other professional advice;
- sanctions, export control, or legally restricted jurisdiction violations;
- excessive load, automated abuse, fake accounts, or abuse of rate limits;
- unauthorized resale, sharing, or sublicensing of the Service unless expressly permitted in writing;
- account sharing or credential sharing unless expressly permitted;
- crypto fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, suspicious wallet activity, or attempts to avoid payment obligations.
2. API key and account security
You are responsible for keeping API keys, credentials, sessions, and workspace access secure. Rotate keys promptly if they may be exposed. Do not publish keys in client-side code, public repositories, logs, screenshots, or support messages unless we specifically request a redacted diagnostic value.
3. AI safety and provider policies
The Service routes requests to third-party AI model providers. Your use must comply with the policies, model usage restrictions, safety rules, and regional restrictions of any provider used to process your request. We may block models, routes, prompts, accounts, payments, or API keys if provider policy or safety risk requires it.
4. Sanctions, export controls, and restricted use
You may not use the Service if you are subject to applicable sanctions or from comprehensively sanctioned or legally restricted jurisdictions. You must comply with applicable export control laws. Uouo Duo LLC may block, suspend, reject, or terminate access based on sanctions, export control, fraud, payment, wallet, or abuse risk.
5. Production integrity
Keep experimental or untested routing separate from customer-facing production workflows until reviewed. Do not use the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load, degrades the platform, interferes with other users, or attempts to bypass usage accounting, quotas, billing, or provider restrictions.
6. Enforcement
Suspected violations may trigger review, route restrictions, rate limiting, payment review, suspension, termination, cancellation of credits or balances, refusal of refunds, reporting to authorities, or other steps needed to protect users, providers, payment networks, or the Service. We may act immediately where there is risk to the Service, providers, or third parties.
7. Reporting
To report abuse, fraud, illegal content, exposed API keys, a security concern, or a suspected violation, contact abuse@uouo.cloud.
